Make-up ritual

Time to present to you my make-up ritual after presenting my cleansing ritual first.

Foundation

I love the Shiseido foundations! The left one is a compact powder foundation and the right one is a fluid foundation that doesn’t covers your face but equalizes your skin perfectly. It also has a SPF 15, so your skin is gets protected from the sun.

Comes in handy with this replaceable box!

Bronzing/Blush

La Roche-Posay bronzing powder. I sometimes use it as a blush.

Conceiler

The famous touche éclat from YSL turns out to be the best conceiler for me! Every pimple gets covered up ;-)

Eyes

Because of the very sensitive skin around my eyes, I use a Clinique mascara (Lash Power – long lasting) and eye pencil (cream shape – black diamond).

Lips

On the left you can see the makeup perfecting lipstick (Praline) from Shiseido, my all time favorite! It’s a nude color, because I love to make-up my eyes more heavy, and that fits the best with a discrete lipstick. Sometimes I put some translucent lipgloss on top of it, for the shiny effect. And when my lips do need some more color I use the Goodness Grapecious lipgloss from Clinique you can see on the right. It’s a vitamin C lip smoothie (although I don’t taste grapes in it!).

Make-up palette

The eyeshadows I use are those from the Catrice limited edition make-up palette (The Berlin Collection). I’ve also presented it here! The different blushes and eyeshadows are named after famous tourist places in Berlin.

Blushes

On the left you have the ‘Unter Den Linden‘ blush and on the right the ‘Siegessäule‘ blush.

Eyeshadows

I’ve chosen this particular color palette because of the earth colors of the eyeshadows, they are the most appropriate for my face (someone has told me that!). They match my eyes the best. The two colors on the left are ‘Ku’Damm‘ (on top) and ‘Checkpoint Charlie‘. The colors on the right are ‘Tiergarten‘ (on top), ‘Brandenburger Tor‘ (second), ‘Am’Alex‘ (third) and ‘Berlin Wall‘ (fourth). Got to admit I only know two places from these palette (got to visit Berlin I suppose!). The ‘Tiergarten’ and ‘Am Alex’ eyeshadows are those I mostly use! Now I’ve got to learn how to bring on a perfect smoky eye effect!

Hope you guys enjoyed the make-up trip I made with you!

What have I learned after making this post:

- got to go on a trip to Berlin, or at least read about it!

- got to find myself a good smoky eye tutorial!
